John is an Advisor at Biospring Partners where he works closely with the investment team across the pharma services sector. He brings over 30 years of experience leading R&D organizations within large pharmaceutical companies. He has successfully led multidisciplinary R&D teams across a wide range of therapeutic categories in which Biospring's portfolio companies are active including small molecules, biologics, and vaccines. His efforts have led to over 40 major pharmaceutical product approvals.
Prior to joining Biospring, John most recently served as Senior Vice President of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Global Clinical Supply at Pfizer R&D. Prior to that role, John spent time in multiple other leadership roles at Pfizer over his 30-year career at the company including as SVP of Medicinal Sciences and SVP of BioTherapeutics Pharmaceutical Sciences. John also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board at Danaher. John holds a BS and PhD from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy.
